Online & In Person!
Beginner 1 , Beginner 2, and Intermediate Classes
We offer Beginner and Intermediate ESL classes both online and in person throughout Louisiana and beyond! Classes are donation-based, with a suggested contribution of just $40 for the class and $25 for the textbook. This allows us to keep our classrooms open to newly arrived refugees, individuals with low incomes, and individuals who are incarcerated. We value your support deeply!
Which Class is right for me?
Beginner ESL Classes
Beginner 1 ESL classes offer basic English vocabulary and grammar and are geared toward the very beginner learner. We provide books at a cost of $25 which includes access to an online database. Online classes do not have a book fee.
Beginner 2 ESL classes are designed for students who have conquered the Beginner 1 class and are ready to progress further, but would rather not dive into the Intermediate level just yet.
Intermediate ESL Classes
Intermediate ESL classes offer more conversation and vocabulary with an introduction to more complex grammar topics. The intermediate class is geared toward students who know a little English and are ready to progress to the next level. We provide a textbook at a cost of $35 which includes access to an online database. Online classes do not have a book fee.

Step 2: Fill out the application
Step 3: Make a $40 donation or fill out the scholarship application.
Step 4: Check your email for a confirmation letter.
In-person classes require a textbook: $25 for Beginner Classes, $35 for Intermediate classes. Online classes do not require a book purchase.
You only need to book your class one time, then attend weekly. For online classes, we will send you a Zoom link weekly.
We take students from all over the world and accept students that speak any language!
