Online & In Person!
Beginner 1 , Beginner 2, and Intermediate Classes
We offer Beginner and Intermediate ESL classes both online and in person throughout the New Orleans area and beyond! Classes are donation-based, with a suggested contribution of just $25 for the class and $25 for the textbook. This allows us to keep our classrooms open to newly arrived refugees, individuals with low incomes, and individuals who are incarcerated. We value your support deeply!
Which Class is right for me?
Beginner ESL Classes
Beginner 1 ESL classes offer basic English vocabulary and grammar and are geared toward the very beginner learner. We provide books at a cost of $25 which includes access to an online database.
Beginner 2 ESL classes are designed for students who have conquered Beginner 1 class and are ready to progress further, but would rather not dive into the Intermediate level just yet.
Intermediate ESL Classes
Intermediate ESL classes offer more conversation and vocabulary with an introduction to more complex grammar topics. The intermediate class is geared toward students who know a little English and are ready to progress to the next level. We provide a textbook at a cost of $35 which includes access to an online database.
Ready to sign up?
Students can begin classes at anytime during the semester. Choose your class, fill out the application, make a $25 donation for your application and check your confirmation email.
You only need to book once, then attend class weekly. In-person classes require a textbook: $25 for Beginner Classes, $35 for Intermediate classes. Online classes do not require a book purchase. We will send you the zoom classes each week.
