What is the New Neighbor Project?
WE WANT TO PROVIDE A VOICE.
The New Neighbor Project is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that provides support to our immigrant neighbors through donation based ESL, Citizenship and HISET classes as well as Citizenship application assistance and scholarship opportunities to help provide a holistic pathway to citizenship for people in our community.

TULANE TUTORING ONLINE ONLY
Over the summer, our Tulane tutoring will be held in person and online on Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. Before class starts, we will reach out to specify if the class is in-person or online. If it is in-person, it will be held in Dimwiddie Hall in room 108. Please see the map below for more details.

Join us for our Evening Beginner 1 class on Wednesdays from 7 PM to 8 PM and our Evening Beginner 2 class on Tuesdays from 7 PM to 8 PM. A new term begins on August 19, but classes will continue every week. This is a great chance to keep learning and practicing your English. We hope to see you soon!
BEGINNER 1 AND 2 EVENING CLASSES STARTING NEW TERM
The Beginner 1 ESL Class at AmeriHealth Caritas Campus will be postponed and will not meet on August 11, August 18, August 25, or September 1. We look forward to welcoming you back when classes resume on September 8th!
AMERIHEALTH CARITAS CAMPUS CLASSES POSTPONED
Want to learn Spanish? Join our virtual Beginner Spanish Lunch and Learn class starting August 19th! We’ll meet every Tuesday from 12 PM to 1 PM in a relaxed, friendly setting. It’s a great chance to build your skills and practice speaking during your lunch break. Come learn Spanish with us!
NEW ONLINE LUNCH AND LEARN CLASS
Join us every Thursday, starting soon, for our online Citizenship Class. This class will guide you step by step through the citizenship application process with study support, mock interviews, and application assistance. Get the tools you need to feel confident for both the exam and interview, and take the next step toward becoming a U.S. citizen!
