What is the New Neighbor Project?
WE WANT TO PROVIDE A VOICE.
The New Neighbor Project is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that provides support to our immigrant neighbors through donation based ESL, Citizenship and HISET classes as well as Citizenship application assistance and scholarship opportunities to help provide a holistic pathway to citizenship for people in our community.

What’s New?
These classes will not be offered during the summer. They will return and start again on the Monday after Labor Day. Whether you're just starting or looking to improve, our structured lessons provide the support you need to grow in confidence and fluency.
MONDAY/TUESDAY ONLINE LEVEL 1 AND 2 BEGINNER CLASSES POSTPONED
TULANE TUTORING ONLINE ONLY
Over the summer, our Tulane tutoring will be held in person and online on Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. Before class starts, we will reach out to specify if the class is in-person or online. If it is in-person, it will be held in Dimwiddie Hall in room 108. Please see the map below for more details.

Join us every Thursday from April to August, 4 PM - 5 PM, for our Citizenship Class at the REACH Center. This class will provide you with the essential tools to prepare for the citizenship exam and interview. Don't miss this opportunity to take the next step toward becoming a U.S. citizen!
NEW CITIZENSHIP CLASS AT REACH CENTER
Join us every Monday starting June 16th, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM, for our HiSET Prep Class at the Rosedale Library. This class, offered in Spanish and English, will help you prepare for the exam with support on test content, the application process, and more. Take the next step toward earning your high school equivalency!
NEW HiSET/GED CLASS AT ROSEDALE LIBRARY STARTING SOON
A new Beginner 1 Spanish class is coming soon! This online class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This class is a convenient option for getting started with English. More information will be available shortly!
