How the Courses Work
8-week online program designed for aspiring truck drivers learning English while working toward their CDL
Virtual classes with a qualified ESL instructor
Class schedule, starting soon:
Morning: Monday, Wednesday, Friday • 9:00–10:00 a.m.
Evening: Monday, Thursday • 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Mentor support from an experienced truck driver to help navigate the CDL process
Additional learning resources: instructional videos, vocabulary flashcards, and worksheets
Career preparation: resume review and interview practice
Optional conversational ESL sessions available online

Courses
This beginning/intermediate English-language course is designed to help truck drivers, with or without a CDL, develop practical English communication skills for use on the road, at loading docks, at service stations, and during cross-border operations. The lessons focus on real-life situations, safety communication, and essential vocabulary needed for daily work in the trucking industry.
Level 1: English for Communication
This course is designed for intermediate English-language students currently in CDL schools. The course follows the CDL curriculum with vocabulary and content support.
Level 2: English to Support the CDL School
This course is designed for intermediate English-language students who plan to take the CDL exam. The course will focus on CDL-specific English terminology, exam content, and strategies for passing the exam.
Level 3: English for the CDL License Exam
